Loosing people

The worst problem right now, is that we are loosing good people. We already lost several people of the highest caliber, because they were not able to find jobs!

I believe that this is mostly the result of incorrect self-identification, i.e. incorrect perception that theoretical physics is a separate fundamental science.

The situation is really bad. According to my observations, the best undergraduate students (working in theoretical physics!) are now choosing math department for their graduate study. This is very bad. In the past, this has never been like that.

And it should not be like that.
